It's hard in the spring and summer keeping up with my computer. I have reached a point in my life that my parents need me and my 42 acres is become the place where I will probably spend the rest of my life so I'm spending a lot of time trying to get it set up where it suites me. I haven't written anything new for almost a year but I haven't quit. It means I am trying to get my world in order and trying to create an environment that will allow me to spend all my free time doing my art and my music. Apparently, this means I need to spend a lot of time in just my own company so as soon as I do that, I will have a lot more to talk about and my calendar will fill up. I also need to find out how to deal with East Texas allergies. They're playing havoc with my voice. It's been a few months since my voice would do what I want it to.
In the mean time, I bought a puppy and have put in a garden and a green house and bought some chickens and am trying to learn how to be a self sufficient as I can and be as healthy. I think we all need to be aware of these things now - and will need it more in the next year or two.
